fearless women pray!

Within this series of prayers and pouring out, we’re going to journey through the full range of our feelings and explore the reasons prayer exists and why it matters so deeply. Prayer is a spiritual, intentional act of communication with God; it’s a way to offer up gratitude, adoration, confession, petition, and honest conversation. For me, prayer often feels like a love letter to God — the simplest way I can describe it. When I pray I speak with intention, free from the fear of judgment, condemnation, or shame. Many times it becomes a rant or a venting session, depending on how hard life has hit me, and other times it is pure, overflowing praise and thankfulness for the blessings already given. I believe God is always waiting to hear from us; He wants to know about the good, the bad, and even the ugly. Frequently we turn to prayer in desperation and need, but those quiet whispers of appreciation and steady communion are just as vital. So let us begin together, seeking God’s presence in a more intimate and consistent way through honest, heartfelt prayer.

Dear God, thank you for the gift of life today. Thank you for watching over me and my family through the night and keeping us safe. As I step into this new day and new week, I place my goals, desires, and plans into Your hands. Father, grant me focus; clear my mind of distractions and give me strength and discipline to steward my time well. I decree and declare that everything meant for me will find its way to me; I will not have to rush, scheme, or compromise to obtain the blessings already assigned to me. Order my steps, align my thoughts, and help me walk in wisdom so I can discern priorities without chaos or confusion. Guide my heart and steady my hands to do the work set aside for me. Let my thoughts align with Your Word and let my actions reflect the goodness of Your kingdom in every moment. In Jesus’ name I pray, Amen.
